Modern automatic doors can be triggered in a number of ways.
Pedal: There is a pressure switch under the pedal. Commonly used in hospital operating rooms, etc.
Photoelectric beam: a beam emitting device and a photoelectric sensing device are arranged near the door.
Button: Press the button to open the door leaf.

To prevent theft, special equipment must be installed at the same time. For example, automatic doors of residences should be equipped with identification devices or TV monitors to strictly limit the number of people outside the residence. The door opening signal of the automatic door is a contact signal. What are the characteristics of the different contact signals? Microwave is a kind of electromagnetic radiation, so the reaction speed is fast, and it is suitable for places where people with normal walking speed pass by. Once the person close to the door is still and does not want to go out, the radar will no longer respond, and the door will be closed to protect the door operator.

Infrared sensors respond to the presence of objects, whether a person is moving or not, as long as it is within the scanning range of the sensor, it will respond and emit a contact signal. The disadvantage is that the response speed of the infrared sensor is slow, which is suitable for places where people move slowly. In addition, if the time for the automatic door to receive the contact signal is too long, the controller will think that there is an obstacle in the signal input system. Moreover, if the automatic sliding door is opened for too long, it will also damage the electrical components. Since the microwave radar and infrared sensor do not know whether the person close to the automatic door really wants to enter the door, some occasions prefer to use the button switch.

The push button switch can be a contact button, and the more convenient one is the so-called elbow switch. The elbow tact switch is very durable, especially it can be operated with the elbow, avoiding the contact of hands. There is also a foot switch, which has the same function, but has high requirements for waterproofing. And the strength of pedal is very big, it is easy to make foot switch invalid. There is also a handle with a contact switch that provides a contact signal to the door when the handle is pushed (or pulled in the opposite direction).

Automation sometimes creates special requirements, such as using a separate telephone line to control opening a door. To do this, we just need to make sure that the signal is a passive contact signal. In some cases, people will ask for remote control of the antenna. The wireless receiver can be connected with the automatic door, and the wireless transmitter can meet the requirements.
